Honorable Mention poet’s corner Insomniac Cat i was kidney stoned, driving home on a Friday afternoon. i put Jonny in the green basket out in the hall. nothing is funnier than five Chinese men sitting on a wall each holding a rubber chicken. do you feel restless? slowed down? tired? down on yourself? suffer from poor concentration? depressed mood? change in appetite? diminished interest in activities? poor sleep habits? if you have two or more of these symptoms… be your beautiful self. the beast is back! i’m pissed and horny but getting along. you don’t know me. i wore the shark expedition shirt, and a bad haircut. elation—depression, more American than ordinary men and women. don’t let them psyche you out! you can take it with you, you never have to die. maturing? serious thought! time for counseling. it’s easy to be a happy timer. come and get it, sure to satisfy. are you afraid to be alone? don’t laugh!
